Young Diplomats Summer Soiree
Young Diplomats Summer Soiree
The British Embassy hosted a reception for young diplomats on 30 July 2008. The aim of the event was for younger people working in embassies and other international organisations in BiH to get to know each other in a relaxed and fun setting. The warm, sunny weather and great music helped to make the evening an enjoyable occasion for guests and embassy staff alike.

Arrest of Radovan Karadzic - Statement by Charge d'Affairs
Victoria Harrison, Charge d'Affairs gave the following statement on 22 July 2008:
I welcome the news of Radovan Karadzic's arrest.  Radovan Karadzic is indicted for some of the most heinous crimes in the 1992-1995 conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
I urge the competent authorities inside and outside Bosnia and Herzegovina to abide by their Dayton and wider obligations under international law and hope that the remaining indictees, Mladic and Hadzic are also brought to justice soon. This will pave theway for a better future for Bosnia and Herzegovina and the whole region.
