Changes to consular and visa services
The Embassy's Consular and Visa Section's opening hours are now 09.30 to 12.30, Monday to Friday.  Due to changes in our procedures, we are no longer able to issue UK visas on the same day. And from 30 June UK visas will be decided in Warsaw
 
Due to an emergency exercise on Thursday 22 May, the consular and visa section of the British Embassy will be open from 11.00-13.00 only.

FCO blogging platform: global conversations
UK Foreign Office Blogs
The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has launched a new blogging platform. This is a new platform for UK Ministers to engage in a dialogue about international affairs and the work of the FCO. To begin with there will be six bloggers including Foreign Secretary David Miliband, and Europe Minister Jim Murphy, as well as staff from throughout the organisation. The FCO has also launched a new YouTube video channel and Flickr photo account.
